Burma Portraits 2007
Burma has one of the harshest military regimes in the world, second only to North Korea. Their human rights record is appalling, and the treatment metered out to the ethnic minorities is awful. Faced with all this it amazed me that every single person I met had generosity of spirit, was kind and welcoming, and above all had tremendous dignity.
